Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey remains one of the most seminal cinematic works – it’s also one of the most enigmatic ever made. What I love about it, is that it reaches for the stars, starting a conversation with limitless potential. Its scope can be felt in the amount of art created for it, and I love seeing new interpretations of it, what sticks with each artist and what they hold as its most iconic elements.

Nikita Kaun’s new poster for Cult Classic Prints is a real beauty, focusing on Dave’s transformation and inextricable link to the Starchild, in a very succinct yet powerful way. The composition is striking, and the imagery bold – he’s created something special with this piece.
