The more I see from P.T. Anderson’s “it’s-not-about-scientology-but-maybe-inspired-by-it” film the more I need to see it. I absolutely love the ad campaign’s explicit vagueness (it’s how all films should be marketed), and this poster featuring what appears to be a submerged wine bottle is no exception. Even though we can’t know what it means yet, there’s no denying it’s knock-out beauty and it’s highly conceptual use of photography and type. If you ask me, this is probably the best film poster I’ve seen all year. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I’ve tried to find out who made it, I still haven’t been able to shed any light on the subject. If anyone does know, please make sure to leave a comment below; the studio or artist need to be credited for this amazing piece of work! via
UPDATE: According to IMP Awards, the poster was done by someone named Dustin Stanton.
