Another Friday, more amazing screenings and art from Spoke Art and Castro Theatre. First up tonight is an insane double bill of young Jennifer Connelly in Labyrinth and Dario Argento’s Phenomena, while tomorrow brings Kill Bill 1& 2, all in 35mm! At this point I’m starting to really feel bad for missing out on these (I live in L.A.) and I’ve gotta say that Phenomena is such an underrated and overlooked gem — it’s pretty amazing to see such a great treatment (with GID inks no less) from Sam Smith. As for Alexander Iaccarino’s KB piece, well, he continues to amaze while Max Dalton’s Labyrinth should give you a tough time choosing!
