Asia Obscura has unearthed the holy grail of hand drawn Indian film posters. Illustrated posters may be a big deal for cult collectors but hand drawn posters are the norm for tons of cinemas in India. This insanely huge set of posters were done by Raju, who draws a new poster every three hours and gets them reproduced in giant, 20″ x 30″ litho form. It’s nice seeing everything confined to just 5 colors, and Raju’s style is just the type we don’t get to see at all.
