dismaland_1UK artist Banksy is back with his latest project, and it’s a massive one for the history books. Built around the dilapidated remains of an old UK resort park, Banksy’s Dismaland riffs off of the happiest place on earth- it’s a stunningly bleak achievement that feels like a cumulative statement from the cheeky artist.

A self-described “festival of art, amusements and entry level anarchism”, the park is a dystopian theme world on a scale like we’ve never seen before. Still, Banksy also told the Guardian that, the park is not a knock at Disney, but a showcase for the best artists he could imagine.

In addition, the park has an incredible lineup of musicians scheduled to perform:
Aug. 28: DJ Yoda, Peanut Butter Wolf and Breakbeat Lou
Sept. 4: Run the Jewels, DJ Dapper Dan
Sept. 11: Comedy night, featuring Roger Monkhouse, Simon Munnery, Adam Bloom and others
Sept. 18: Sleaford Mods, Savages
Sept. 25: Pussy Riot, Kate Tempest, Massive Attack

The Weston-super-Mare exhibit will only be open for five weeks, from August 22nd – September 27th, 2015. Tickets are only £3, but naturally only an allotment of 4,000 tickets with assigned time slots will be given out each day. Check out the official Dismaland Facebook and website for information and tickets.
