Tron’s been in the news a lot lately, with Kosinski becoming the “king” of first-timers, the blu-ray setting market share records, and the interwebs buzzing of a sequel. Some self-starting (must be) film students have taken the initiative and created a trailer for the “next chapter”. It’s got lots of cheese in the middle but the production value is amazing, from the CG integration, to Claudio Miranda’s subdued palette. It’s also worth noting, that the direction they’ve taken here is something that I’ve imagined would be the next logical step for the franchise, if it ever comes to fruition by Disney.
