Chris Garofalo’s going to be at NJ’s Monster-Mania Con this weekend, March 8-10, and he’s dropping an exclusive Death Proof inspired print! Easily the most maligned of Quentin Tarantino’s oeuvre (even from QT himself), the film still has plenty of fans like myself who love it’s dizzying mix of vehicle carnage, insane stunt work and of course that chilling performance from the mighty Kurt Russell. For his print, I like that Chris has only evoked the grungy feel of old theatre posters while still creating something that looks modern and fast. Head below for all the print details and a few words from Chris himself! For those interested in attending the Con, visit the official Monster-Mania website for full info.

From Chris: I’ve been toying with the idea for a “Death Proof” inspired print for a few months, but none of my concepts really popped, so I put it on the back burner. However, once I found out that Jordan Ladd was going to be attending Monster Mania Con this March, where we are vending, I knew that “Death Proof” needed to be properly represented in print form at our table. More than anything, I really wanted the design to express terror in motion and give it the retro pop color and distress treatment to pull off that grungy theatre look, which I love.
