nin_came_back_haunted_lynch_sheridanWhile David Lynch has made it known that his future in film doesn’t look bright, the director still seems to have plenty up his sleeve and a lot more to do. His latest work is a collaboration with Nine Inch Nails for their “Came Back Haunted” music video. From the start, I’ve loved the direction Trent has taken for the new album, sonically and visually, calling out to the band’s earlier output (Downward Sprial and prior) in some refreshing ways. This latest video from Lynch seems to cement that renewed sense of purpose. It’s a perfect fit, offering rich, grainy black-and-white photography, epileptic washes of color and an angry Reznor. All is right in the world.
