Continuing with Geek-Art and French Paper Art Club’s Batman 75 series, here’s Tim Doyle’s re-imagining of Detective Comics 31. The issue is most notable for when Batman left Gotham to fight a villain called Monk, after the kidnapping of Bruce Wayne’s fiancee, Julie Madison. I love Doyle’s much darker and atmospheric take, it’s equal parts creepy and classic.
