Grey Matter Art is not slowing down at all! Their latest series brings them to James Cameron’s Terminator, featuring a poster for the original film, the first of a diptych by Gabz. I’m sure Gabz’s art speaks for itself and I don’t really need to seek it much. The guy just can’t do wrong, and his composition of the menacing endoskeleton housing the series’ characters is packing with beautiful details. You can look at this thing for a good while and still find new things in it.

This officially licensed poster goes on sale at the Grey Matter Art Store next Tuesday, December 16th at a random time between 1-2PM EST. Follow @GreyMatterArt for the heads up and updates as to when the film’s second poster will be released.

From Gabz: The Terminator” and “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” are both one of those movies I always wanted to work on, so when Mike Gregory from Grey Matter Art approached me with the offer, it was like a dream come true. I wanted something with strong imagery, action packed, and with a glimpse of the future as seen in both movies. While I’m hoping the artworks will speak for themselves, two things worth pointing out is that the general concept was inspired by an interview with James Cameron I read a while back, in which he stated that he had a dream about a cyborg/robot coming out of the flames, and as we all know the rest is pretty much a cinema history. The other thing I wanted, was to design both posters to form a diptych.
