under_the_skin_2Here’s a great video of Brick/Looper/The Brothers Bloom auteur Rian Johnson talking about Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin. I haven’t been quiet about how much I think Glazer’s film is a masterpiece, and it just so happens that Johnson feels the same way.

While introducing the film for a BFI event, Johnson picked apart a few scenes and talked about his obsession of the film to explain how not a single frame in Glazer’s story is wasted. It’s great to hear Johnson’s perspective (whom I believe is one of our most important filmmakers) just to get a peak inside his mind and the way he’s parsed one of the best films of our time.
