If you’re in San Francisco, this show at Hashimoto Contemporary should be on your radar. Called Moleskine Project IV, the exhibit showcases sketchbook art from some of the gallery circuit’s most celebrated artists. Finished works are great, but as you can see front he art below, sketchbooks allow artists a freedom to explore without the pressure of creating something that will have to fit a certain theme or end result.
