Mondo’s starting to reveal a lot of what’s in store for this weekend’s Mondo Con, and among the killer art, there’s Kevin Tong’s Mulholland Drive. Easily one of David Lynch’s most maddening films, Tong’s taken the Escher route, with a smart composition that takes the film’s lyrical vibrancy and gives it an appropriately twisty visualization.

This is just perfect to me, and as we speak, I’m adding it to the year’s best of list.
