I’m still pinching myself that The X-Files is coming back, and this new animated teaser is getting me really excited. Fox is really pushing for Mulder and Scully’s return, and this latest morsel of goodness is one that reflects on our favorite parts from the series. Taking liberal influence from Saul Bass, the clip ties the series’ dense mythology together in a really fun way. Everything from the black ooze, to Mulder’s obsession, iconic monsters, the “I want to believe” poster and the foreboding return of some key players is represented and in very stylish fashion.
Sunday, January 24th, 2016 can’t come soon enough.
