Wow, Black Dragon Press is really killing it this year. Following up those beautiful Tarkovsky posters a few months back, they’re back into art house territory with these stunning Godard pieces. Many of Godard’s film’s from his heyday are iconic, but Pierrot le Fou may be my personal favorite. It’s the zaniest, most colorful and still somewhat accessible, before he got more abstract, and I’ll always have a soft spot for its iconography. Art was handled by comic book artist Yuko Shimizu, whose art benefits from being a kind of out-of-the-box choice. She nails the film’s eccentricity and electric rhythm of chaos and color.

These posters go on sale only through the Black Dragon Press store Tuesday, July 28th from 3PM BST. Visit Black Dragon Press for more info and details.
