In Ted Vasin’s newest series Poison Bliss, the SF-based artist exhibits an almost hyperrealistic world of large format illustrations featuring a man at odds with the psychedelic invasion of his body and his violent reaction to the perceived threat. Despite the pastel/muted color schemes, the pieces are as scary as it gets, painting a wonderfully frightening world of colorful destruction. You can see the series from now to June 6, at the 101/exhibit in Miami, FL, but make sure to visit Vasin’s website as well –  he’s got a lot more from where this came from, including some abstract electro music.
