Now that Batman V Superman is out, it’s as good a time as any to reflect on Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. The final in Nolan’s Bat film trilogy, it was operatic and huge, with the guts to finally give the Dark Knight an ending he’ll never get again. Not my favorite in the series, but a good endcap to a defining moment in superhero movies.

Tomer Hanuka’s latest print for Geek Art weighs in on the film, in only a way that he can. He keeps things simple, focusing on Batman and Bane as the fight it out in graphic detail. I love the unexpected color scheme and Hanuka’s vivid nuance. It’s also nice to see a poster that isn’t just a collage of heads and images.

The Dark Knight Rises is on tomorrow, March 30th through French Paper Art Club.
