lorn_under_the_skinWhat I love about Lorn (Marcos Ortega)’s music is that his albums sound like incredible soundtracks. He creates these dense, cinematic atmospheres which force us to imagine incredible sequences we’ve never seen. Constantly accessible, yet at odds with pop structure, his tracks are intense slow burns which mess with our imagination and don’t allow us to be bystanders.

In fitting form, YouTube user MetaCitizen has taken up Lorn’s challenge, so to speak, blending his tracks with films such as Upstream Color, Altered States, Under the Skin and more. The results recolor those films in fun ways, resulting in moody edits which give us more appreciation to the music and visuals accompanying them.
