with_a_little_patience_2Director Laszlo Nemes is getting his due, thanks to Son of Saul and its deserved Oscar nod, so there’s no better time than now to check out his very first film, With a Little Patience. It’s a short one, presented in full by the SF Jewish Film Festival, and it employs much of the same visual language and ideas that would later populate Saul.

Told all in a single take, and offering no escape from the face of a young woman going about her daily office duties, the film builds to a slow, but explosive climax that will send you reeling.
