It’s been a really dark year, and we’ve especially had an insane week, but The Village Voice has a great new article about some of the greatest minds in music, and how their art has made everything that much easier to bear.

The article in question is about Nick Cave, David Bowie and Leonard Cohen – two of whom have passed away, but with legacies and songs that ring with truth even now.

Art for the editorial was done by Aussie duo WBYK, and it’s gorgeous, simple and with an iconography that is as strong as each artists’ work.

Visit Village Voice to read Navigating the Darkness with David Bowie, Nick Cave, and Leonard Cohen, then check out more art from WBYK.
