Here we go, with Lars von Trier’s next film set to release in the latter part of this year, the first poster has arrived, and boy is it a doozy. You’d never see anything like this stateside and it perfectly captures the director’s ability to evoke and provoke with whatever he does. Whether you’re into the movie or not however, you have to admit that this stylish piece of minimalism is pretty smart, elegant and trashy all at the same time. It’s no doubt going to end up being one of this year’s best one-sheets, acting as a rorschach test which tells you to “forget about love”.

If you don’t know what the film’s about, it’s about a middle-aged woman (Charlotte Gainsbourg) recounting her sexual escapades from childhood to middle-age, when a stranger (Stellan Skarsgård) finds her beaten up after an alley mugging. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how the film is received and what von Trier is up to. via
