Tracie Ching unveiled her Life Aquatic poster via Twitter yesterday and it’s pretty incredible. Though I’ve been a fan of her work for some time now, each new piece just keeps getting better and better. I especially love the nuance and linework here, which is easily amongst her best. Each character is stylized in a unique way, and the waves which tie the entire composition together create just the right amount of dissonance and harmony, mirroring the conflict that ultimately brings the group together.

The piece will be available at Spoke Art’s annual Bad Dads (a Wes Anderson tribute show), running in SF on October 26 and 27. Check out more from Tracie Ching at her website.
